September 2014
September Third Saturday was held on September 20, 2014 at the Woodford County Historical Society in Versailles, KY. Yvonne Giles and Marty Martin (Historical Society Curator) showed us the African-American research treasures that can be found at the Society. Many of the records have been indexed and transcribed by Society members, so it was easy to search the records. A couple of us found records for ancestors who had been "hiding" for a long time!
