November 2013
The November Third Saturday was held on November 16th, at the Scott County Public Library in Georgetown, KY. Our presenters were members Regina Thomas and Jerry Bedford, who shared how useful and exciting DNA has been in their research for ancestors and how they were able to connect with living relatives! I think we all agreed that this one of the best DNA presentations we had ever seen. Instead of focusing on the process (which is too complicated for most of us), they showed real examples of how they had used the results to connect with relatives. If you weren't there, you missed an excellent program!

October 2013
October Third Saturday - CANCELLED - WILL BE RESCHEDULED
The Future of AAGGKY: to be or not to be?
We are approaching our 3rd Anniversary and it is time to evaluate our progress and plan for the future! Your input is important; suggestions are needed for programming, education, research, etc. What are we doing right? What are we doing well? How can we improve? What direction should the organization take? What services can or should we be offering? How can we get more individuals “involved,” not just entertained?
